Been a long day today...didn't make it to Phoenix as planned but if there's one thing that the Catalyst Road Trip has taught me it's that I am the last one authoring this story.  I am in Yuma, AZ tonight and hoping to get the Vanagon back from the shop sometime tomorrow. 

I'm super bummed that I won't be joining the crew at Central Christian tomorrow morning, but still hoping to get to Phoenix by Sunday night, maybe Monday morning.  Life on the road...gotta love it!

Larry Osborne, lead pastor with North Coast Church in Vista, CA and author of Sticky Church, invited me to his home in Oceanside. Back in the late 1990's Larry and the staff at North Coast pioneered the "video venue" strategy of church...and you might be surprised to hear how it began:

Final day in San Diego didn't go as planned.  This cold took me out and sidelined me for the entire day...bummed I had to postpone some meetings this morning :(  The Catalyst Road Trip will be back in San Diego soon...this is a glimpse of what dominated the day for me:

What is your drug of choice for a head cold?  Seriously, the last thing you want to do when you're sick is research which medicine is going to work best...tylenol, sudafed, benadry?!  Leaving for Arizona tomorrow and hoping to break this cold quick...
