We are convinced that the Catalyst Community has incredible talent. In fact, we are willing to put several of you on stage to prove how talented the Catalyst audience is! Are you a beat boxer, a ventriloquist, a dancer, a juggler, or do you have some sort of weird talent or trick that makes you the most favorite at staff Christmas parties every year? We want you to show us what you've got. Send us your videos! We'll look through all of them and invite a select few to perform their tricks or talents on the main stage at Catalyst. You never know, Letterman or Leno might be next for you! Email danielle.kirkland@injoy.com with a link to your video on the internet or send a video in the mail to us at: Catalyst ATTN: Talent and Tricks 3760 Peachtree Crest Drive Ste A Duluth, GA 30097 All videos must be received by September 26. We can't wait to see what you can do!

Five Years Later

September 10, 2006

Barna Research studies reveal despite an intense surge in religious activity and expression in the weeks immediately following 9/11, the faith of Americans is virtually indistinguishable today, 5 years later, compared to pre-attack conditions. (Barna Update 8/28/06) I think it's a matter of religion vs. the Christian life...following Christ comes with a price and some just aren't willing to pay that price, but rather attend a few religious ceremonies each year thinking that ought to be enough. Kind of like when you go to a wedding and it reminds you how a marriage union ought to be, stirs up lots of emotions and feelings. But what do you do with those feelings, do you make any lasting changes? Do you recommit yourself to your spouse?
