Opportunity International is the largest Christian organization engaged in microfinance. A new book, A Billion Bootstraps, describes the benefits of microfinance (and it's an easy read).

Those CRAZY invisible children


The youthful and talented staff of InvisibleChildren.com have come up with another creative campaign to end child abductions in Northern Uganda. This is a follow-up to their intelligently phenomenal event last April: DisplaceMe. Invisible Children is perhaps the most powerful example of Christians starting a movement fueled primarily by creative media. Is creativity a useful force, OR a waste of time? Raise your hand.
