You can now follow our road trip to Ohio as well as catch a glimpse of where we are planning to visit over the next four months. Click on the page tab at the top titled, "Map." T.I.A.V.? -

Our bags are packed and we are getting ready to hit the road tomorrow for the third round of the 2008 Catalyst Road Trip. All we need is a working vanagon! We have a great crew of guys working on it, but (as we have seen from from day 1) nothing is for certain. I remember spending two weeks in Africa this summer where I learned the phrase, "T.I.A." - "This Is Africa" - a term used to describe the simple fact that plans could possibly... hmm, no probably... yes, absolutely change! Well, given that one of the the only places VW Vanagons are still made is South Africa, we should feel right at home! "T.I.A.V." - "This Is A Vanagon!" We will let you know how tomorrow morning goes...

11:33PM - Did the Giants just win the Super Bowl?! I still can't believe it... but the way they did was even more amazing! Eli Manning's pass to David Tyree? Maybe one of the greatest cluth plays ever! It was a game for the ages, unreal! Ok, enough football... I could talk about this game for a while.

Our 2nd road trip into TN was a huge success, thanks to Jesse Phillips for making this trip an absolute blast! We got back home (Duluth, GA) on Saturday and are now getting ready for the 3rd leg of the 2008 Catalyst Road Trip season... this time headed north to the "Birthplace of Aviation" - Ohio! Mack Kitchel will be joining us for this journey; more about Mack soon! The vanagon is getting doctored up, and we will be heading out in the next few days. Please forgive the delay on the aforementioned road trip map and timeline details. We are changing up a few things on our end and will get that to you very soon.

If you would like to be part of the 2008 Catalyst Road Trip please let us know... we are in the process of contacting some of you to ask if we can come see you, but we wanted to extend a general invitation as well. (besides, we're wondering if we have an audience outside of our families and those that read out of obligation in the event that we bring it up in conversation :)) by the way, hi mom!)
