Catalyst has earworms

October 21, 2008

You know earworms, those songs that get stuck in your head for days and drive you nuts? I've had Springsteen's "Thunder Road" playing in my brain for going on four weeks now. Occasionally, though, these mental tickertapes manifest themselves in a truth or a word from God that you can't escape (Margaret Feinberg calls these "sacred echoes," but that's another post). The Catalyst Conference is usually good for at least three or four of them each year. I'm sure you're all still re-hashing everything you learned this year, but tell me: What has been spoken at past Catalysts that you're still thinking about? Something Rob Bell said in 2003, or a point Louie Giglio made in his 2006 talk, or a passing comment made by Andy Stanley in 2001?
