Are your socks matching right now? If not, you're in good company. Seth Godin spent time with my brother and I yesterday and the first thing I noticed was his socks were wildly mismatched. And I'm not talking about a navy blue sock and a black sock - you have to see Seth's fashion statement and hear from him why he intentionally mismatches his sockes everyday!
Seth Godin, founder of Squidoo and author of Tribes & the #1 marketing blog in the world, was one of the highest rated speakers at Catalyst 2008 - everyone loved him at Catalyst! But what about Seth's perspective? What was it like for him to be in a room filled with 11,000 "church people." I asked him about his personal experience at Catalyst and if he would share one thing that he is learning right now...it was truly a gift to be able to meet with Seth; our team is excited for future opportunites to work with him and build on the friendship that started over a year ago.

Fantastic job, guys! Thanks for doing this—lots of great wisdom [as always] from Seth. And LV, you did the interview with such finesse. Well done :)
Appreciate all that you do to help leaders be better leaders.

Wow, this was so cool! Thanks for posting this LV.
Reason #4,585,561 why I love Seth Godin: I don’t match my socks either!

I’m sure this is helpful, but Seth is hard to hear.
Can you use a couple of lav mics for these interviews? Or do them in a less live room? I know it’s more trouble, but it’d be worth it.
You could capitalize better on these opportunities with a better capture.

This was outstanding. I read everything he writes. In a conversation like this we see a very caring Seth who really wants the best for all people. He wants to see people achieve greatness. This was indeed God’s idea first, but it’s nice to see Seth join the chorus :)
