Climb 4 Captives
August 23rd & 24th
Mt. Rainer - Seattle, WA
Some of our friends from the Great Northwest are engaging the global fight against human trafficking in a unique way...they are putting their own lives on the line and climbing Mt. Rainer next month, two days before Catalyst One Day Seattle.
Every dollar that Del Chittim and the Climb 4 Captives team raises throughout this campaign will go to International Justice Mission's efforts to free slaves and prosecute perpetrators in Mumbai, India.
These guys are insane...and amazing, check out their video from 2009:
Climb 4 Captives 2009 Summit
The Climb 4 Captives 2010 goal is to raise $40,000 which is projected to rescue 18 victims of human trafficking, place them in an aftercare recovery home, and prosecute 34 criminals responsible for the injustice.
Jason Haynes, Catalyst Project Manager & "Dallas Willard Wanna-Be," and I are hoping to be with the Climb 4 Captives team up to Camp Muir where we will send them off to the summit.
