Yesterday I posted a blog (w/a video interview recorded Feb 19th) highlighting the story of Tim Bach, Lonnie Chapin, & the Icon City team in Bend, OR - a young church plant working with the city, for the city.  Last night I emailed Tim with the link to to the blog thanking him, again, for taking time to meet with me.  This morning I received a text from Tim and had to share it with you...

"Thanks dude. God your email last night; kind of you to post that interview.  Wait till I tell you what's happened since you were here!  The Department of Housing & Urban Development sent us 600 people, Boys & Girls Club gave us rooms for a medical clinic & job skills classes for street kids, and Section 8 has been giving us free food and covering rent for the kids.  The government decided to provide funds and work through our church...crazy!  If we'll start with the city, we'll win with the city.  Tell 'em LV, it's happening!  And we're so thankful..."
