Maybe it's because I love watching golf and have been dialied in on the U.S. Open this weekend in New York...maybe it's because I grew up watching that guy in the crazy colored knickers and remember his stunning vicotry at Pinehurst No. 2 ten years ago to this day...or maybe it's because when I think about Father's Day I wrestle through my own emotions of loss and am sensitive to what this day might mean for anyone else who doesn't have a dad to wish Happy Father's Day. 

Regardless of why, when I remember Payne Stewart and hear of the legacy he left I am faced wtih a raw perspective on the powerful role of the father.  Here is a look back at Payne Stewart and his legacy...
