First Full Day in St. Louis

July 28, 2009

It's an honor to meet with leaders from well-known churches and organizations that many of you are already familiar with, but I have to admit that sometimes I get very excited to meet with leaders that fly under the "traditional radar" and learn from their stories...stories often rich with wisdom and insight of incredible value!

Today I had the priveledge of meeting with Ian Stamps and Scott Adkins from Cornerstone Christian Church in Shiloh, IL & Tim Gray, Tisa Ayers, Jeromy McDowell, & Rhonda Barnes from The Bridge Community Church in Leadington, MO.

Below you will find the video interview with Ian and Scott at Cornerstone; I will post the video interview with Tim from The Brdige early next week.  And trust me, you will want to see it - Tim is a bi-vocational pastor and has helped establish a leadership team that operates practically beyond a traditional hierarchy...in short, everyone getting their hands dirty and willing to do whatever is needed!

(going to try and provide you one (1) video/day during the trip and then post the others when I get back...wish I had more time to get all of the quality interviews to you as they happen...but I also know that some of them could get lost amidst all that is shared)

Pictures from the day!
