Middle-Age MySpace

October 30, 2006

More than 50% of visitors to the popular social network site are now 35 or over vs. less than 40% last year. Meanwhile, the proportion of MySpace's age 12 to 24 visitors has dropped to 30% from 44.3% reports comScore Media Metrix. This suggests MySpace is increasingly becoming a mainstream Internet portal. Social networking has become a phenomenon like blogging that transcends group boundaries.
