Did you know that each person makes an average of seven major life decisions?  Did you know that five out of those seven decisions are made around the age of 23?  Did you know that a college student changes their major an average of five times?  Did you know that only 35% of college graduates find a job in the area of their chosen major?

The implications?  The above decisions costs more money, extra time, lots of headaches, confusion, ambiguous purpose, and increased frustration.

How?

LifeChurch.tv offers a 9-month apprenticeship experience for young leaders, ages 18-24, called LeadershipXP. It is designed to cultivate young leaders, dreamers, and doers by giving them responsibility on the field and immersing them in a special mentorship group. 

It's not an internship. It's not a coaching network. Those learning environments really don't compare to this experience. LeadershipXP offers a unique mixture of immersion, responsibility, freedom, and mentorship.

Each young leader is provided housing near one of our thirteen locations.  They are also connected with a team member who serves as their personal coach and mentor for the 9-month journey.  Simply put, we develop leaders while they are in the game.
We concentrate on four key developmental areas: spiritual development, leadership development, character development, and emotional intelligence.  What is the actual flow in making this work?  We work through a process that includes self-awareness, integration, self-management, and others’ awareness.  There are two reasons this process makes sense for us: (1) this fits the culture of our church and (2) research reveals that the downfall to business and church leaders usually involves an element in this process.

We must embrace the challenge and responsibility of Mark 12:30.  We must learn to love God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength.  There is a healthy obsession at LifeChurch.tv to make this a daily reality through LeadershipXP.  We are about developing leaders who are fully devoted to Jesus Christ.
