Whereas:
- Scott Hodge is starting a coaching network
- LosWhit, Tony Morgan, and several others have started coaching networks
- Michael Hyatt is starting his Next Generation Mentoring group
- Mentor Like Jesus is endorsed by Andy Stanley as a powerful tool for developing Christians
- Kyle Reed is lamenting that he can't find a mentor
- Jesus commanded us to "make disciples" (think the 12 disciples)
- 2 Tim 2:2 "And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others."
Therefore,
You must start a coaching network ... or at least intentionally invest in someone. Jesus told us to do this from the beginning and now the idea is really gaining steam.
You have learned something. You have stumbled, fallen & risen. You need to share with and invest in others. It's the way Jesus designed the Church. And (not that this matters) everyone else is doing it.
Take a minute to pray and ask the Lord to show you who you need to invest in OR who you can ask to invest in you.

Hey JP,
this was the very reason we started Backstage Leadership because its so hard to get time with great leaders. The feedback has been incredible for this current class. A new semester is starting in January!

I’ve seen a lot on mentoring models for men and while I agree there is a huge need, can anyone point me in the direction of models for women as well. More than a Bible Study, women have the same need for someone to come alongside them too.
